The short version: PaMapp is a shared notebook for a family to get organised. It is not a medical product, it does not replace a health professional or an emergency service, and what you put into it is seen by the whole group. Using it means accepting these terms.
PaMapp is an organisation tool so that the people caring for an older relative know what happened, what is coming and who is on duty. It is for keeping a record, coordinating, and having documents at hand.
PaMapp is not a medical device and gives no medical advice of any kind. It does not diagnose, prescribe, calculate or suggest doses, interpret studies, or assess symptoms. Nothing it displays may be taken as a clinical instruction.
PaMapp does not replace an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. The app records what happened; it does not assess the severity of anything and does not alert anyone on its own.
Health decisions are made by the person being cared for and their professionals. Medication is recorded as an administrative fact — given or not given, who logged it and when — copying what was already prescribed. The app does not validate that prescription.
Reminders are scheduled on the phone and may not fire: if the operating system defers them, if the phone is off, out of battery or silenced, or if notification permission was revoked. They must not be relied upon as the only means of making something important happen on time.
By using PaMapp you agree to:
A group is a shared space. Everything any member enters is visible to the others, with their name and the time. Before inviting someone, bear in mind they will gain access to the group's history, not only to what happens from then on.
Recorded facts are not edited: a correction is a new entry. This is deliberate, so the record cannot be altered retroactively and so two phones that were offline can reconcile without losing anything.
An account is optional: without one the app works fully on a single phone. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining access to your email, which is the only way to sign in. You can delete it at any time from Settings; the exact effect is described in the privacy policy.
What you enter belongs to you and your group. We claim no ownership over it. We only store and transmit it so the app can work, and use it for no other purpose.
PaMapp is built to work offline: the phone is the source of truth for what you see, and syncing happens in the background. Even so, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the sync service, and we may modify or discontinue features. If we were to discontinue the service, we would give reasonable notice and a way to export the information.
If any feature becomes paid in the future, it will be clearly stated inside the app before any charge, together with its price and conditions. Nothing is charged without explicit consent.
PaMapp is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, nor for decisions made on the basis of the information it contains. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, nor relieves anyone of their own duty of care.
If these terms change, we update the date above and publish the new version here. They are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to any consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
